Every time I reach out to communicate with people these days I know I am just disappointing them when I don't have anything new to report. Sorry if you got excited! Baby Ballard is still hanging tight for now.
I'm doing as my doula suggested and pampering myself, relaxing, and letting the good love hormones flow. I've been walking up the biggest hill in my neighborhood, too. The gravity can't hurt. Waiting for baby is like waiting for my sister when she came home from Nicaragua, waiting for Christmas morning as a kid, and waiting for a delicious cake to bake, all rolled into one, times eleventy-million squared.
I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy some time off. Stay tuned...

Katy,
ReplyDeleteI love you and baby! No dissapointment here, babies are born in God's time. If it means he will be happy and healthy, I am content to wait.
I'm not ever disappointed. Just excited for you. The waiting at the end is the hardest part, but babies come when they are ready. You have a Doula? How cool that must be!! I hate that we don't work together so I would have been able to watch you through this wonderful journey. I think there are way too many babies induced into this world before they are ready to "hatch". Sit back, relax, read a good book, indulge yourself and Little Ballard will appear whenever he is good and ready to pop out. Much "motherly love" and best wishes to you, John and baby!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's just waiting to make his grand entrance. I'll be praying for y'all. I know you're excited to see him.
ReplyDeleteYou might be the only person I have ever known who has a doula. Where does one find said doula?
ReplyDeleteThere is NO disappointment! I am just happy that you are feeling good and not too uncomfortable and you look great! He will be here soon! Just not as soon as you want him to be. We can't wait to meet him and see you and the family of four(can't leave out Spike!).
